Jack- Jack decides to take full control of his tribe and randomly beats the small children and ties them up. He uses his bullying to make Jack continues to be greedy and a vulgarian and decides to attack Ralph's camp and steel firewood. Jack takes his whole tribe and decides to raid Ralph's camp and steal whatever they've got so that they wouldn't need to work and hunt for it. Jack also feeds his "tribe members" with advice stating that Ralph is danger to the group and should be avoided.
Ralph and Piggy- Both the boys don't understand why their tribe is raided and why they are being assaulted. Within minutes all that they have collected during the day was stolen including piggy's glasses.
Theme- The absurd reason for raiding Ralph's camp was so that Jack didn't need to look for resources and find other items to strive on. To make fire Piggy's glasses were used to reflect the sun's rays on the wood. Therefore Jack's tribe assaulted and stole them from Piggy and Ralph during the middle of the night.
